About the position

AppleTrack is looking for an experienced, detail-oriented video editor with a passion for vertical content. In this role, you will be responsible for repurposing longform videos and working from ingest to export on boutique vertical stories.

What you’ll be doing, specifically:

• Reformat horizontal videos to feel native on vertical screens
• Transcribe accurate captions to guide viewers
• Sort through and cut down raw video files
• Scan internal and external sources to find accurate B-roll
• Collaborate directly with Sam Kohl to ensure a seamless transition between editors

What makes you a great fit:

• 2+ years of experience editing vertical videos
• Some knowledge of Apple Events, products, and services
• Superb communication skills providing frequent updates
• You consider every detail important and have a passion for outputting at the highest quality possible
