About the position

AppleTrack is looking for an experienced, detail-oriented video editor with a passion for vertical content. In this role, you will be responsible for repurposing longform videos and working from ingest to export on boutique vertical stories.

What you’ll be doing, specifically:

• Reformat horizontal videos to feel native on vertical screens
• Transcribe accurate captions to guide viewers
• Sort through and cut down raw video files
• Scan internal and external sources to find accurate B-roll
• Collaborate directly with Sam Kohl to ensure a seamless transition between editors

What makes you a great fit:

• 2+ years of experience editing vertical videos
• Some knowledge of Apple Events, products, and services
• Superb communication skills providing frequent updates
• You consider every detail important and have a passion for outputting at the highest quality possible

Position Type

Engagement type (employee or independent contractor) will be determined based on the selected candidate’s location and applicable law.

Compensation

Compensation for this role is determined on a per-project basis, based on scope and complexity. There are no guaranteed hours or minimum number of projects.

Employment with AppleTrack is at-will and may be terminated at any time, with or without cause or notice, consistent with applicable law.
