The rumor: Ahead of this month’s iPhone 12 unveil, we’re already hearing about some of the flagship features for next year’s lineup, as shared by Ross Young (not yet rated).
- Screen sizes (5.4/6.1/6.7-inch) may remain the same into 2021
- Across the board, camera sensors are increasing in size next year, but the number of cameras is staying the same
- Headlining the Pro models in 2021 will be a higher refresh rate 120Hz display
- The number of cameras per model will stay the same
Our take: The details for next year’s lineup are sparse…and they should be. The 2020 iPhone haven’t even launched yet. Think of this is an extremely preliminary glance at what we could see in 2021.
