The rumor: Apple is upgrading base and Pro iPhone storage with iPhone 13, according to Ming-Chi Kuo (76.6% accurate).
- According to a new research note obtained by AppleTrack, Kuo provides the following info for iPhone 13 storage:
  - iPhone 13 mini and iPhone 13: 128GB, 256GB, 512GB
  - iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max: 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, 1TB
- Over the past year, rumors have been a mixed bag on how much storage the Pro iPhones specifically will have
Our take: I still don’t really understand the need for 1TB of storage on an iPhone, but here it is: it’s happening. But I’d bet the best part of this new option will be the pricing…

AirPods 3 coming at Apple’s September 14 event, according to Kuo
The rumor: Apple will unveil AirPods 3 on Tuesday, according to Ming-Chi Kuo (76.6% accurate).
- AirPods 3, which have already been leaked extensively, may be announced alongside iPhone 13 and Apple Watch Series 7 at Apple’s ‘California Streaming’ event on September 14
- Also mentioned in the research note, obtained by AppleTrack, are the Apple’s plans to apparently continue producing AirPods 2 in the future…perhaps as a budget option
Our take: I know this may sound like a hot take, but this is now what I’m most excited to see on Tuesday. Plus, it marks the first time Apple will announce a new pair of AirPods on stage since the originals in September 2016.

Apple will soon carry every color of the new M1 iMac in-store
The rumor: Apple plans to soon stock all iMac colors in-store, according to Mark Gurman (88.8% accurate).
- Apple will reportedly announce this “minor Mac news” at their ‘California Streaming’ event on September 14
- Previously, only Blue, Green, Pink and Silver were available in Apple Stores
Our take: Random news, but cool that these colors will be more accessible now.

Not iPhone and Apple Watch only, some minor Mac news to look out for on September 14: Apple will start selling all 24-inch M1 iMac colors in retail stores. Yellow, orange, and purple were previously available only online.

The news: Apple just announced their highly-anticipated September event to kick off a busy Fall season.
- The digital event begins at 10am PST on September 14, 2021…the usual time for Apple keynotes
- iPhone 13 and Apple Watch Series 7 are expected to be unveiled

Apple rumored to hold multiple September Events this year
The rumor: Apple plans to hold more than one event this September, according to DigiTimes (61% accurate).
- The rumor, seen by MacRumors, says Apple plans to “host a series of product launch conferences in September,” with a new model of the $329 is expected at one of them
- In this history of Apple as a company, they have never held two major product launch events in September…last year they spread out their announcements between September, October and November
Our take: With DigiTimes’ weak track record…yes, I’m highly skeptical of multiple events next month. Not saying it’s impossible. Just highly improbable.

Gurman: Apple holding multiple special events this Fall
The rumor: Apple may be holding multiple product launch events this Fall, according to Mark Gurman (88.8% accurate, via Power On).
- “I believe there will be multiple virtual Apple events this fall given all of the new incoming hardware and software” Gurman says
- Apple held September, October and November special events in 2020 to announce a comparable amount of new products
Our take: I think two events happening is a for-sure thing, and three events is a strong maybe. I’d put my bets on September and October.
