The news: Following last year’s release of Midnight Green, Apple is preparing a new color for some of its iPhone models this year, according to DigiTimes (61% accurate).
- The new ‘dark blue’ colorway will be a first for an Apple product
- It’s still unclear whether or not Midnight Green will be eliminated
- Max Weinbach (39.% accurate) shared the new color was coming months ago
Our take: With multiple sources now reporting the same thing, it seems like ‘dark blue’ is happening this year. That being said, I hope it is complimentary to Midnight Green…not its replacement.
