The rumor: Apple is planning to send ‘invites’ out for a Special Event in October as soon as tomorrow, according to Jon Prosser (72.7% accurate).
- Prior to Apple’s September 15 event, invites were sent out 7 days in advance on September 8
- The October event, where iPhone 12 and AirTags will be unveiled, is said to take place on Tuesday, October 13
Our take: October 13 has been pretty unanimously agreed upon by a number of sources in the community. Based on what happened in September, tomorrow seems highly likely for an event announcement to me.
