    • The DTK is an A12z-powered Mac mini that must be returned to Apple at some point in the future
    • Jon Prosser (85.5% accurate) says the Apple Silicon event will take place on November 17, where AirTags will also be announced

    Our take: Seems like perfect timing that Apple is meeting with select devs and a November event is rumored to be just around the corner…

    • An Apple-designed GPU will reportedly be seen in this Mac first
    • The redesigned iMac is set to ship in the first half of 2021

    Our take: While The China Times is not known for their solid track record, they have done pretty good this year with the claims they’ve made. Looks like we are only getting a new MacBook with Apple Silicon this year.

    The rumor: Apple will unveil the first-ever Mac with Apple Silicon inside in mid-November, according to Jon Prosser (85.2% accurate).

    • At least one new ARM Mac powered by Apple Silicon is expected at the November event, which Mark Gurman (88.3% accurate) has also rumored
    • Leaks suggest it will be either a new version of the 13-inch MacBook Pro or the reincarnation of the ‘MacBook’ line
    • AirTags, Apple’s Tile competitor, may also be coming at this event

    Our take: Prosser, whose credibility increased significantly following Apple’s last event, was spot-on when leaking the date for Apple’s October 13 event. So we’re likely just over a month away from the first ever Mac made with Apple Silicon!

    The rumor: Apple’s first Mac with Apple Silicon is coming at a 3rd special event in November, according to Mark Gurman (87.8% accurate).

    • Rumors suggest the first Apple Silicon Mac will be one or two new products
      • a) a new 12-inch MacBook
      • b) an updated 13-inch MacBook Pro
    • Other products, like AirPods Studio, are also expected to debut at the November event

    Our take: I think I’d place my bets on the 12-inch MacBook coming back. Just as that product was discontinued in recent years, reviving it could be a great way to sell the future of Apple Silicon.

    • Apple Watch, iPad, iPhone and AirTag updates will all be complete by the end of October, leaving November wide-open for the following products:
    • With the median average accuracy of all 3 sources being 83.6%, the probability of this third Fall event is highly likely

    Our take: A triple-event Fall series would be a fever dream in any other reality than the one we’re living in right now. With in-person gatherings not being a real possibility and Apple showing us in September that an event can be centered around 2-3 new products, this feels like the perfect cap to end Apple event season.

    • You may be able to get 15-20 hours of battery life due to the new architecture
    • A Retina display will measure 12 inches diagonally

    Our take: This marks the second time we’ve heard that Apple is planning to announce the revival of the ‘MacBook’ lineup later this year. Seems like the strategy will definitely be to start small and build up to more expensive devices later on.
